I don’t even want to argue with you. I just want to know why you’re spending your time campaigning against a Fediverse dev instead of learning to code and fixing it yourself. Unless you want to speak to my manager, CEO of the Fediverse.
>why you’re spending your time campaigning against a Fediverse dev
I didn't really intend this to look like campaigning agaist you, I'm just kind of annoyed by your "change above all, fuck backwards compatibility" attitude (also did you seriously not think of the hellthreads)
>instead of learning to code and fixing it yourself
I might seriously try to figure out how to write custom MRF's and build Pleroma from source thanks to this lol
>Unless you want to speak to my manager, CEO of the Fediverse
Yes it would be my pleasure to speak to the CEO of the Fediverse, thanks for asking
Hi, CEO of the Fediverse here. Your ticket has been escalated to me. I’m sorry for your experience in the Fediverse and for the way you have been treated thus far. We will try to do better.
I have reviewed your interactions with Alex and again I am sorry for the way you have been treated. Please understand that Alex tries hard, the best he can and generally does a great job providing free code for the Fediverse community but he is a vegan and some times that lack of protein can lead to impulsive and poor decision making.
Hah! Thank you for giving me this opportunity to learn and grow from the experience. It won’t happen again. 😂
At Soapbox, we care about your feedback. That’s why we’ve developed a Diversity & Equity team to address your concerns regarding treatment of different Fediverse frontends. Here at Soapbox we treat differently-abled frontends with the utmost care. We’re here to address your concerns about ALL frontends. All frontends matter, thank you very much.
Not that I know of. There are only 2 that can run natively against a Pleroma server. The others are standalone installations that connect with your server remotely (eg https://pinafore.social/ )
